We believe that AI can do lots of good, but know it must be user-friendly in order to be widely and safely adopted and not cause inequality gaps or other forms of harm. Especially now.

The job:

We are seeking an exceptional creative with a passion for user experience, to lead the creative direction of Neople's UX, visual design and branding efforts. This job will be big on UX, it's at the core of what we do. So we're definitely looking for someone who's willing to go out there with our team, meet our end-users, go deep in UX research and solve users' problems in a visionary way.


Responsibilities:

  • Be a leader. Develop and lead the overall creative vision for Neople's design and branding efforts with a strong focus on user experience

  • Be the users’ voice. Work closely with product and customer success to ensure we are meeting the needs and expectations of our users, and ensuring all creative materials are aligned with our brand messaging and strategic goals.

  • Be a teamplayer. Collaborate within the team to develop and execute design solutions that meet business objectives and improve the user experience

  • Be a creator. Create and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all channels while prioritizing user experience

  • Be an innovator. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to user experience design (in AI), to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our design work


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in visual UX/UI design, with a strong emphasis on user experience

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience leading design projects that prioritize user experience

  • Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

  • Applied brand strategy experience

  • Passion for UX research and a proven track record of incorporating user feedback into design decisions

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • A work week of 32, 36 or 40 hours a week. It's up to you!

  • NS business card or other reimbursement for travel

  • Hybrid and flexible work location. You can either work from our office in s'Hertogenbosch, or from home anywhere else in the Netherlands. We’re definitely willing to support you working remotely for part of the year too. (our colleague Bas can confirm, he spends 6 months a year in Portugal).
